People Helping People will be the beneficiaries of the 10th Annual Chili Festival! The event will take place Saturday, April 11th 2026 at The Barn on Holiday Island. We are actively seeking Sponsors for this fun and delicious event. There are several sponsorship levels to choose from. In the past 9 years, the Arkansas State Chili Championship has raised over $40K for local charities benefiting Carroll County. We hope you choose to sponsor PHP this year! The deadline for sponsorship is March 31st.
Please contact Steve Falkowski at 845.235.3073 to sign up or for further info. Our heartfelt thanks to Francie Russell and Wes Grosvenor for once again decorating our winning tree this year and all the voters who made the PHP Flamingo Tree win possible!
As always, the funds will go to purchase medications for Carroll County Residents in need. A very big THANK YOU to the Episcopal Church for sponsoring People Helping People for the SILVER TEA this year. And thank you to all the staff at the Crescent Hotel for all their help. The event was well attended, a good time was had by all, and the Silver Tea raised $6500 for PHP! Father Angus wrote a special note to say how much he and the other Episcopalians love working with us. They appreciate not just our cookie contribution but help with decorating and cleanup. The money raised from the Tea will buy medications for many people in Carroll County, AR.
We are so very grateful for your support! Great PHP team at the Crescent Hotel Christmas Tree Lighting tonight! Always a wonderful event sponsored by the Crescent Hotel and Brashears Furniture supporting charities in our community in a fun and meaningful way. Tree with the most votes wins! Come out and vote for us!
Great photo shoot with Joe Scott from the Carroll County Community Foundation giving us a check from their Giving Tree Grant. We were awarded two checks totaling $5000! Thank you!
The money will go to help Carroll County residents buy much-needed medications.
On October 16, 17, and 18th, People Helping People will have a sale at the Universal Unitarian Church on Elk Street in Eureka Springs. The proceeds will go for purchasing medicine for those needing help at the Carroll County pharmacies. Lots of beautiful items for sale. A perfect shopping stop for Christmas gifts, collectors, and more !!
People Helping People was absolutely delighted to be this year's charity recipient of the annual Silver Tea hosted by St. James Episcopal Church members. Now in the 56th year, this is a community-wide holiday celebration. Everyone gets out their silver polish and best cookie recipes for this fabulous event. The tables are covered with fine linens, gleaming silver trays and tea sets and this year, more than 200 dozen delicious handmade cookies were donated -- a feast appreciated by all!
We are so grateful for your support! All donations will pay for prescriptions for those needing help buying their medicines. Several of our People Helping People board members dressed in Victorian costume. What fun! The new owners focus on unique antique, vintage and collectible items and our Flamingo Booth fits right in!
