Speaking Out!

One of our founding members, Susan Hopkins, spoke today about the People Helping People program at the Community of Christ Church in Berryville, Arkansas.  We wanted to share the wonderful feedback Sue received from her presentation.

"Sue - thanks so much for joining us today!  I think we had a very positive conversation that helped educate us on the value of your program.  When I went out in the kitchen, a couple of our members were talking about how it seemed to be a good program, appropriate controls were in place to prevent abuse, etc.  I think it’s also important to note that it’s a bridge for your clients, not an ongoing solution.

Again, thank you for coming.  It says TONS when people are willing to come out and educate the community, both about the program itself, and about your personal passion for it."
