Susan Hopkins and Roberta Kirby of the People Helping People Board and Tim Ensley from the Office of Human Concern accept a $3000 check from the Carroll County Foundation as part of their "Giving Tree" Endowment Program.  Janell Robertson of the Carroll County Community Foundation says "This is a perfect testament to the power of an endowment. Donors give their tax-deductible donations, those donations are invested and grow and give back every year. The donor’s dollar continues working in and for the county, giving back to a variety of nonprofits – those that focus on critical care as well the arts and education."
